Significance

The Master of Arts Program in Sanskrit focuses on how to cultivate individuals who possess exceptional competence and expertise in the Sanskrit language and literature, thereby nurturing a pool of highly qualified professionals who can effectively contribute to the advancement, enrichment, and conservation of our nation's cultural heritage, with enduring advantages for the field of education.

Objectives

1. To cultivate graduates with the ability to proficiently comprehend and translate Sanskrit language and literature.
2. To foster graduates with the capacity to effectively summarize and generate research findings in Sanskrit.
3. To nurture graduates with the competence to establish connections and administer
Sanskrit knowledge while seamlessly integrating it with other disciplines of study
(Inter-disciplinary).
4. To foster graduates with advanced research skills and proficiency in 21st-century technologies.
5. To instill in graduates a strong moral character, ethical conduct, and a sense of social responsibility.
